STEP 3
Fund Your Coinbase Account
Below are written instructions for Desktop and Mobile.
On Desktop:
1. Sign in to your Coinbase account
2. Select Home in the navigation bar and select: See more: Then select: Cash
3. Select DEPOSIT
4. Enter amount → $535.00 or $1050 (with a small buffer) next to your USD balance.
Why the buffer? When you transfer your funds to the trading platform, there are small network fees. Adding a buffer helps ensure that at least $500+ arrives in your account so you can qualify for the newcomers bonuses. See FAQ's below for newcomer bonuses.
5. Select pay with: (checking account). Don't select debit card because if you are new,
there will be a limit of only $50.00
6. Select Preview
7. Review and confirm by selecting Add cash now
On Mobile App:
1. Select Deposit

💡 Why does Coinbase do the 7-day hold
When you connect your bank:
Coinbase gives you instant buying power
BUT the money hasn’t actually cleared from your bank yet so they lock withdrawals for a few days to prevent fraud.
👉 Basically:
You can buy immediately
But you can’t send it out yet
That hold usually lasts until the bank transfer fully clears (about 5–7 days)
And important:

1. Initiate the Send (Coinbase)
Open Coinbase and select Send Crypto.
2. Go to dsj platform.
Click on Deposit.
Currency: USDT
Chain Name: (SELECT: ERC 20) VERY IMPORTANT
3. Go back to coinbase. Paste the address you just copied from your dsj trading account into the recipient field. (Send Crypto to) wallet address. Double check the wallet number. This is VERY IMPORTANT.
NETWORK: Ethereum
Select Asset & Amount
Select (Tether (USDT) as the asset you are sending.
Enter the amount you wish to transfer. ( make sure it's over $500.00)
Verify & Confirm
Click Preview.
Look at the wallet address one last time. Does it match those last four digits you noted in Step 1?
If it matches, click Send Now and then Done.
4. The "Quiet" Wait 🕰️🌿
In Coinbase - click on TRANSACTION. You will see that sent USDT and the amount.
Now, switch back to DSJ Trading Account. It can take 5–10 minutes for the blockchain to finish the move. This is a great time to grab a coffee! ☕
5. Final Step: Move to "Trade" Mode
Once your USDT arrives, it will land in your DSJ Exchange Account. Sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to arrive. Keep refreshing the page.
Once your funds arrive, we need it in your DSJ Trade Account.
Go to Assets and click Transfer.
Ensure it says: From [Exchange] to [Trade].
Select USDT, click All, and hit Confirm.

1. The "Golden Rule" (Network Selection)
Choose the ERC20 Network: This is the most important part of the video. Richard warns that on the DSJEX deposit page, you MUST select ERC20 as your "Chain Name." This is the only "highway" Coinbase uses to send USDT.
The "Safety Check": Before hitting "Send" in Coinbase, always verify the last four digits of the wallet address you pasted (e.g., "5990") to ensure it matches your DSJEX address.
2. The Final "Hand-Off"
Exchange vs. Trade Account: Once funds arrive in DSJEX, they land in your Exchange Account. You must go to Assets > Transfer and move them to your Trade Account before you can follow signals.
Step A — Deposit US Dollars (USD) into Coinbase
Sign in
Deposit → Cash
Enter amount: always include a buffer
Transfer from checking (Debit cards have $50 limits so select checking acount)
Preview
Add cash now
➡️ This simply puts USD cash in your Coinbase account.
Step B — After funds clear / become available
1. Buy ETH on Coinbase
Open Coinbase
Tap Buy (Search for ETH or Ethereum )
Select payment method (Cash (USD) this will make it use the balance you have on coinbase.
Review and confirm purchase
2. Get ETH Deposit Address from DSJ
Log in to DSJ
Click Assets -
Click on Deposit
Curreny: ETH
Chain Name: Ethereum / ERC20 ⚠️ Very Important: Make sure it says ETH
Copy the wallet address DSJ gives you.
3. Send ETH from Coinbase to DSJ
Go back to Coinbase
Click Send Crypto
In the address bar that says Email, address, invoice or ENS
Paste the DSJ ETH wallet address Very Important: double check the addressClick Continue / Next
Choose Asset: ETH (Ethereum)
Network: Etherum
Enter the amount to send: MAX amount
Review everything carefully
Double-check the wallet address one last time
Click Send Now / Confirm
4. Wait for Deposit
After sending, go to your Coinbase transaction history. It should show that you sent ETH and display the amount.
Then log back into DSJ and watch for the deposit to arrive. Blockchain transfers can take a few minutes, so give it a little time and refresh the page if needed.
ETH transfers usually show up within 5-10 minutes.
Once you see Exchange: ((your cash)) you can then move on to step 5.
5. Final Step: Move to "Trade" Mode
Once your deposit lands in your DSJ Exchange account:
Go to Assets → Transfer
From: Exchange
To: Trade
Select USDT
Click All → Confirm
